February first already!!!!
Today was my day off after working ten days straight. My day started at six in the morning just like any other day.
- Woke kids up
- got Troy ready
- got myself ready
- Started a load of laundry & dishes
- pick up girls friends
- drop girls at school
- drop Troy at daycare
- drove home
- started the dryer and loaded the washer
- clean kitchen
- clean bathrooms
- clean living room
- swept & mop
- continue with laundry
- had breakfast
- shower & got ready to pick up Troy
- Finish laundry
- picked Troy up
- Date with Troy at Borders & Beach House Yogurt.
After we were done having yogurt Troy & I drove home. I was hoping he would take a nap but that didn't happened. He cried and cried and since it was already late I gave up and let him out of his room. That meant I was going to have challenges while cooking dinner. Troy loves being in the kitchen with us. He wants to help all the time, I don't mind it at all. Today though I wanted to just be by myself and relax, never happened. While the food was cooking I played with him with his ABC bingo game he got at Borders. I have been up and on the go for the last twelve hours and I am exhausted, and Troy is still full of energy. Today I wished I had a maid once a week so that instead of spending my only day off, I could have done something for myself while the kids were at school/daycare. I know, I know wishful thinking. Tomorrow back to work, maybe I'll get to relax.
