It's been a Saturday full of anxiety. Aislynn's team made it to the finals. First game was at 9:30am. They tied 2-2 and went to OT. No one score during OT and they went to penalty kicks, Unfortunately they lost 5-4. Since both teams had only lost one time during play offs they had to play again at 1pm.
Girls were exhausted, but they plaid with their heart. Game was intense, Aislynn team was undefeated through regular season, they played hard every game, so you could see in them they really wanted the first place trophy. At the end they did it, they pull through and won the game 5-3.
Just when I thought soccer was over, I've learn first place goes and plays against the other AYSO regions. So my Saturday's are going to be busy, busy busy, aislynn with soccer and Sarah with rugby and maybe Troy with baseball. Lord with me the energy to make it through every Saturday.

Off today:) and it is clean up day. Bedroom done, bathrooms done, living room done, laundry in process, French doors done. Kitchen well almost done. I hate cleaning the microway and oven. I came across this simple DIY idea to clean the microway, tried it and it really work. In a small glass bowl add water and a teaspoon of vinegar(I used lemon juice, we don't like the vinegar smell) and put it in the microway for five minutes then just wipe it off. All the yucky stuff comes off and the lemon gets rid off all the awful smells. Now if there's a simple way to clean the oven.

Still on the to do list:
Clean windows
Clean oven
Couple loads of laundry

Dinner
(kids can make themselves turkey or tuna sandwiches for lunch)

Having to change insurance and waiting for the paperwork to  process sucks! I'm out of my thyroid medication, and I feel like crap. Tired, tired, tired!!!!! Working ten hour days doesn't help!

In case you didn't hear.......

A very smart person out in AZ cause a power outage to about 2 million people and yes we were five of those two million. to say the least, today was 114 degrees, I was about 1 1/2 away, Todd got called to work due to this power outage(it's 11:30 and he still not back), Sarah was at the HS, and Aislynn was left home with Troy and i kept getting texts that they were very hot. There's more to tell but it's late, had a long day and I'm exhausted!!!

Taste the rainbow:)

As I'm getting ready for bed and missing my baby tremendously this came to my mind. we were at target just the other day and as we were waiting in line to pay Troy says this to me:

"Mom, I want to taste the rainbow"
I was like, "huh". I turn to see what he was talking about and see that he is holding a bag of Skittles.

He proceeds to tell me that the commercial on TV says "taste the rainbow".

The lady in front of me couldn't hold her laugh and I had to join her.
